HRS is honoured have Scroll 1211 Sobeslav which is on long term loan from the Memorial Scrolls Trust. In accepting this loan, the synagogue promised to make a long term committment to give the Memorial Scroll a prominent and meaningful role in the spiritual and educational life of the congregation and to dedicate one Shabbat each year to the Jews of Sobeslavl - the people, their community, their fate and their heritage. 

 Each scroll loaned by the Trust is a messenger from a martyered community that depends on its new congregation to ensure that they are remembered as individuals, and that their local Jewish heritage is cherished. Click here for more information.
